About Andrew

Andrew is the Accredited Exercise Physiologist of Complete Health Cairns. With over 20 years of client-based experience, Andrew holds a graduate degree in Human Nutrition and a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. This bolsters 10,000+ hours of client work completed since attaining a degree in honours in Sports & Exercise Science in 2004. Andrew has frequently been complimented on his natural style with clients by just ‘having a chat’ and helping them feel at ease.

Andrew moved to Australia in 2009… so has now spent most of his adult life here. Cairns has been home since 2015, and he is very happily married to an FNQ local – living on a beautiful cane farm south of Cairns where the sun sets over the pyramid.

Andrew specialises in clinical musculoskeletal conditions, with a keen interest in prescriptive knee, hip, back and shoulder programming – both preventative and rehabilitative. If you are aiming to avoid/delay surgery, or if you have recently undergone surgery, he would love to hear from you.

Andrew’s other Exercise Physiology areas of expertise include training older clients to remain strong, robust and independent with adapted strength training techniques, plus client support for metabolic conditions such as diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure.

Andrew can provide education, planning and coaching for your nutritional wants and needs, whilst optimising macro/micro nutrient intake (protein, carbs, fats, vitamins, minerals) to really enjoy your food whilst making progress.

Outside of work, Andrew continues his enjoyment of health & fitness and you can still catch him leading Rugby Union training at Barron Trinity Bulls or being very silly running his Rugbytots business – a kids play and learning program – at weekends.
